Course Description:
Students use Microsoft Office Project Professional 2007 and Project Web Access 2007 to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control projects (aligning with Project Management Institute best practices) in an efficient and reliable manner within an EPM environment. Students learn to utilize all aspects of an EPM solution to increase communication and coordination between both project team members and executives. The course begins with creating a resource-loaded project plan, then flows through the process of optimizing the plan and updating it with progress, and concludes with analyzing the project using various reporting methods.
