Course Description:
This two day instructor led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to create Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 reports using Microsoft Office Project Server 2010 data.
Recommended Prerequisites:
- Experience creating and manipulating Business Intelligence Views in Project Server 2010 and Excel
- Basic understanding of SQL
Intended Audience:
- This class is intended for professionals who manage or support a Project Server 2010 enterprise project management solution (“EPM”) or who manage or support programs and desire more in-depth reporting out of Project Server 2010. Students should be proficient in creating Business Intelligence views and manipulating those views in Excel or have some experience writing SQL queries or using the reporting features of Access.
Course Objectives:
Upon completing this course, the user will be able to:
- Create a SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 report template using Project Server data and Project Server Cubes
- Deploy a SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 report template
- Manage access to SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 report templates
- Subscribe to SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 reports
