Course Description:
This three day instructor led course
provides students with the knowledge and skills to use
Microsoft Project Web App to
configure and manage a Microsoft Project Server 2010
enterprise project management solution.
Recommended Prerequisites:
- A solid understanding of the key project management concepts and terminology found in Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide)
- Prior experience using any version of Microsoft Project
or Project Server
Intended Audience:
- Individuals who have been identified as the server or project administrator of the Microsoft Project Server 2010 Enterprise Project Management system
- Administrators who are responsible for maintaining the client and server – side administrative features
- PMO Leads and other Stakeholders responsible for
implementing or deciding how to use Microsoft Project Server
to solve enterprise project management needs
- Program Managers and other Stakeholders responsible for
managing programs and/or creating program-level reports
using Project Server 2010 data
- Portfolio Managers and other Stakeholders responsible
for implementing a solution to enable analysis of projects,
business drivers, costs, and resources
