Course Description:
Students use Microsoft Project Web Access 2007 to view and access project reports and task information, report progress on project and administrative tasks and view issues, risks and documents associated with their tasks.

Related Certification:
None. This is an optional course that focuses on the team member aspect of working in a Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 enterprise environment.

Prerequisites:
None.

Intended Audience:
This 3-hour session is designed for:

  • Individuals who will be required to accurately track and update their time using Project Web Access, as well as use Windows SharePoint Services to maintain project and non-project related documents, issues and risks

Course Objectives:
In this class, students will learn how to:

  • Accurately report time spent on project tasks
  • Define project work estimates
  • Update project managers with work, remaining work and % complete on tasks
  • Update managers with time that resources will not be available to work
  • Collaborate on project documents, issues and risks
